【摘要】:Inthemakingofironandsteelduringthereductionofironores,copperformsalloywithironandsteelhencethenecessityofdeterminingthecopperconcentrationformetallurgicalconsideration.Thistestmethodisintendedtobeusedforcompliancewithcompositionalspecificationsforcoppercontent.Itisassumedthatallwhousetheseprocedureswillbetrainedanalystscapableofperformingcommonlaboratoryproceduresskillfullyandsafely.Itisexpectedthatworkwillbeperformedinaproperlyequippedlaboratoryandthatproperwastedisposalprocedureswillbefollowed.Appropriatequalitycontrolpracticesmustbefollowed,suchasthosedescribedinGuideE882.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofcopperinironores,concentrates,agglomerates,andrelatedmaterialsintheconcentrationrangefrom0.003to1%.1.2Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
