【摘要】:Abrasionresistanceduringtransportandstorageisessentialtopreventmarringoftypematter,designs,orprotectivecoatingsontheexterioroflabelsandotherprintedmaterials.Recognizingthattheactualamountofabrasionoccurringinthefielddependsonrelativehumidity,temperature,tightnessofpacking,andahostofothervariables,thistestmethodprovidesarapidmeansforcomparingtheabrasionresistanceoftestsurfacesunderlaboratoryconditions.Itisusefulforspecificationacceptancebetweenthesupplierandthecustomer.Thistestmethodcanalsobeusedtoevaluatetherelativeabrasionresistanceofprintedinks,varnishes,laminatesandsubstrates,andtheabrasivenessofinks.1.1ThistestmethodcoverstheprocedurefordeterminingtheabrasionresistanceofprintedmatterusingaGA-CATComprehensiveAbrasionTester.1.2Thistestmethodisapplicabletopackaginglabels,book,catalog,andmagazinecovers,barcodes,corrugatedboxes,andothercontainershavingappliedgraphicsonanyflatsubstrate.Itisnotrecommendedforpowdercoatings.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
