【摘要】:ThispartofISO4491specifiesamethodforthedeterminationofthetotaloxygencontentofmetallicpowdersinconcentra-tionsuptoabout2%(m/m)byreduction-extractionathightemperature.Byagreement,thismethodisalsoapplicabletothedetermina-tionofthetotaloxygencontentofsinteredmetalmaterials.Themethodisapplicabletoallpowdersofmetals,alloys,car-bidesandmixturesthereofwhicharenon-volatileunderthetestconditions.Thesamplemaybeinpowderorcompactform.Theanalysisiscarriedoutonthepowderassupplied,butthemethodisnotapplicableifthepowdercontainsalubricantorbinder.Ifsuchsubstancesarepresent,themethodmaybeusedonlyiftheycanfirstbecompletelyremovedbyamethodnotaffectingtheoxygencontentofthepowder.ThispartofISO4491shallbereadinconjunctionwithISO4491-1.
