【摘要】:ThispartofBS5655givesrecommendationsforthemodernization,ormodification,andimprovementofhydraulicpassengerandgoodspassengerlifts,servingdefinedlandinglevels,havingacardesignedforthetransportationofpersonsorpersonsandgoods,suspendedbyjacks,ropesorchainsandmovingbetweenguiderailsinclinednotmorethan15°tothevertical.ThispartofBS5655doesnotcoveranyofthefollowingtypesoflift:a)newlifts(seeNote2);b)liftingappliances,suchaspaternosters,minelifts,theatricallifts,applianceswithautomaticcaging,skips,liftsandhoistsforbuildingandpublicworkssites,ship’shoists,platformsforexplorationordrillingatsea,constructionandmaintenanceappliances;c)installationswheretheinclinationoftheguiderailstotheverticalexceeds15°;d)liftswithdrivesotherthanhydraulicliftssuspendedbyjacks,ropesorchains;e)like-for-likereplacementofliftcomponents(see3.2);f)goodsonlylifts;g)liftswithratedspeeds,upwardsordownwards,greaterthan1.0m/s.NOTE1TherecommendationsinthispartofBS5655may,however,beusedasabasisformodernizationormodificationofsuchlifts.NOTE2Wherealiftfallsintooneofthefollowingcategories,itisdeemedtobeanewliftasdefinedintheLiftsRegulations1997[1]andthispartofBS5655isnotapplicable:—dismantledfromanexistingsiteandinstalledatanewsite;—installedwherenoliftpreviouslyexisted;—completelyreplaced;—onlyretainstheguiderails.NOTE3Insomesituations(e.g.potentiallyexplosiveatmosphere,extremeclimateconditions,vandalism,transportingdangerousgoods,etc.),additionalmeasuresmightneedtobetakentothoserecommendedinthispartofBS5655.
